DURBAN AMLA SWEATS DABUR AMLA TEAM

KOLKATA: Just one wicket was required for Indian bowlers and there were 22 overs to be bowled, India bowled 20.4 overs to take last wicket of proteas. Thanks to Harbhajan Singh who bowled line to leg and Umpire Davis who took his own time studying the crowd of Eden garden and after understanding the public demand raised his finger slowly. The whole crowd roared as his finger went up and Indian Dabur Amla team remained on first place in ICC test ranking. What is to be noted here is the not the victory but the pathetic condition of the Indian bowling. No doubt they missed Anil Kumble much in such a situation and Indian team literally sweat to take last wicket. The way Hashim Amla of proteas played all the three innings against India in two tests it was evident that he looked like as if he is playing in his home ground. His average is 490 runs in three innings which is fifth highest in the world. It was just one man Amla against our Indian team. It is because of him India lost the first test. And though India has retained its ranking position the credit of entertaining cricket should go to Hashim Amla. He was stickier than our dabur amla and he played excellent innings on non sticky surface of Eden garden. Packed with the natural gift for batting Amla made curry of Indian gooseberry bowlers.
