Filthy – Nobel to India, Jairam
November 21, 2009
New Delhi: Environmental and Forest Minister Jairam Ramesh said if there was any Nobel Prize for dirt and filth, India would get it. He said our cities are dirtiest cities in the world at a function to release a report of TERI (The Environment and Resources Institute). He forgot to take credit for such filthy condition of India as congress ruled this nation for more than 50 years after independence. When Danny Boyle made movie ‘slumdog millionaire’ so called elite society said he is selling Indian poverty to the western world and the minister of the nations is now selling Indian filth to the world by making such filthy comment. May be that is the reason people feel Indian politicians are really filthy. If there would have been clean politics in India right from the beginning, may be our country would have been cleaner.
