Home Minister P Chidambaram has charged the RSS with being behind Baba Ramdev’s anti-corruption campaign, saying the Sangh’s fountainhead had decided to support anyone raising the corruption issue.

Is it wrong Mr. Chidambaram for taking a decision to support anyone raising the corruption issue?
From its very start RSS is known as an organization which is always ready to support the activities of national interest. It is known for its contribution to the society for standing against all evils. Whether it was war or natural disasters or Social issue of female feticide killing or economical issues such as Swadeshi, farmer’s promotion; RSS & its swayamsevaks have always been proactive catalyst and crusader for such issues. The core belief of RSS is to only work on uniting people & creating social responsible cadre; where as its swayamsevaks will take fight on different issue in different forms considering the need of time. The organization has always performed and served the nation whenever there was a critical satiation before Indian society and nation.

However, it is said that extraordinary time needs extraordinary measures and today nation is facing same situation. At present, there are scams after scams ¬ which are as big as a fraction of Indian economy; perpetual inaction & cover-up of government on black money is not only hurting the economical prospects of country but also maligning the image of nation. When nation is going through the one of darkest era of its independence existence; it’s hard to believe that RSS like nationalist organization is doing nothing on this issue. So do you still think the RSS stand against corruption should be re looked into?

“I think you should know who is behind Baba Ramdev. Go back to March 2011. At a meeting at Puttur in Karnataka, the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, which is the apex body of the RSS, decided to support all organizations and individuals that will raise the fight against corruption,” Mr. Chidambaram said in an interview.

Yes very correct Mr. Minister, When this year in March Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha the apex body of RSS met in Puttur-Karnataka to decide on the future activities of organization; corruption was on top radar of leadership. Pratinidhi sabha passed a unanimous resolution to fight tooth & nail against corruption. Same message was passed to all the swayamsevaks to get ready for a long and continuous fight against corruption. Even before media & internet forums swing in the support of Anna Hazare campaign against corruption; RSS has started passing the massage & appealing people to support this cause of national importance at local levels. Keeping the core policy of RSS to support any individual or group who is standing for national or social cause; RSS top leadership which always believed to work away from media glamour came in open to support Anna Hazare and Janlokpal demand. In Anna Hazare movement where RSS passed an unofficial massage to swayamsevaks before the start of movement to support the cause and passed official statement once actual movement started.

Now when Swami Ramdev has announced his satyagrah Crusade against black money & corruption, RSS have taken one step ahead & before the commencement of his Satyagraha movement passed an official statement not only to support the movement but even actively mobilize its swayamsevaks to make the movement a mass movement & meet the aspiration & commitment to society and the whole Nation.
Congress should always remember that for the interest of the nation RSS will always takes its step forward and will stand against all evils….I repeat all evils………
