Attacks on Indians inspired by Raj Thackeray: Aus
January 23, 2010
Melbourne: The Australian authorities have made it clear to the Indian government that the racial attacks which are taking place in Australia are actually inspired by the Raj Thackeray and Bal Thackeray. According to the sources within the external affairs department of Australia, they had conducted research on these racial attacks on Indians and they have found that these attacks on Indians are indeed inspired by Indians. And the attacks on Indian cab drivers in Australia is clear indication that Australians are not happy with maharashtra government’s rule that only Marathi people should have permit to drive taxi ( cab ) in Mumbai. According to them when in Mumbai- India, if other state people are not allowed to drive taxi /cab, then how can we allow Indians to drive cab in Melbourne, Australia?
The sources within these attackers say that they are very much inspired by the Maharashtra Navanirmana Sena and Shiv Sena for their policy for local employment for local people and they say that, this fact made them to take action against the foreigners who are taking their jobs in Australia. But unfortunately these foreigners have turned out to be Indians. The youth of Australia wants better quality of jobs should be offered to them and Indian people should not be allowed to snatch their jobs. Indians are contributing to the major extent in Australia in the field of Medical science and IT and drawing handsome salary than the normal Australian. Even in the field of education Indian youths are doing considerably well. So these Australian attackers are protesting against their government policy of allowing the foreigners to take their jobs by means of attacking the foreigners. According to them it has got nothing to do with race but it is to do with the race for livelihood in life. They feel these attacks are as similar as attack by MNS activist on Biharis’. It is for the survival and hence can’t be considered as racial, argues one of the attackers. The latest remark by Bal Thackeray saying that he will not allow Australian cricketers to play in India for the IPL 2010 has irked these Australians even more and attacks on Indians have increased off late. Even Pakistani cricketers playing in Australia are under fear that they might be mistaken as Indians and could be attacked by some jerks. They are making it clear in every interview that they are from Pakistan and they have the best all rounder in the team and yet they are not bid in IPL auction and they hate IPL and Indian cricket board now.
