Ajmal Kasab fears M.N.S – picks up MARATHI……….
December 11, 2009
Mumbai: A lone surviving terrorist of 26/11 Mumbai attack Ajmal Kasab has started fearing MNS ever since he has heard that Maharashtra State MLA has been attacked by MNS MLAs inside the Assembly hall for not taking oath in Marathi. If the elected legislator can be slapped inside the Assembly then what could be his fate, after all he is the bloody terrorist who attacked the very core India and that is also in Maharashtra. Since then , Kasab, a fourth standard dropout of an Urdu medium school, has been keenly observing the proceedings and picked up bits of Marathi as witnesses, lawyers and the judge speak in these languages although the evidence is recorded in English. And other day when the court staff asked him about whether he has fever, he said “Nahin, Nahin, Taap Nahin (No, No, I don’t have fever),” so he conveyed the message to MNS people that indeed he is learning Marathi and expects at least less punishment less from Marathi manus.
Even some time he says “Tumhi Nighun Ja (You may leave),” his first words in Marathi to Special Public Prosecutor during the lunch break. In fact he has learnt these words as Special Public Prosecutor would utter these to him after the court proceedings. The police had seized Rs 4,580 from Kasab at the time of his arrest. He wants the judge to allow him to buy books with that money to kill time in solitary confinement. Special Public Prosecutor once asked Kasab, “Now what is the use of reading books?” may be his advocate will give him books in Marathi since his money is now the property of the court and books will help Kasab to learn Marathi
The same Kasab has demanded the charge sheet in Urdu during the first hearing very rudely as he said he can’t understand either Marathi or English and he is now spending his money for learning Marathi. That is the effect of MNS. Now he will learn Marathi and plead guilty in Marathi. After all he is in Maharashtra jail. That would make MNS proud, is not it?
