NEW YORK:  Andre Agassi’s upcoming autobiography “open” revealed that he used to take drugs during 1997 and he even lied to the ATP about the same when he had failed the doping test. Eight time grand slam winner left the tennis world shocked and virtually closed the spirit of the game by admitting now. The entire tennis world has expressed its shock over this revelation and condemned him. But Agassi is expecting compassion from the people of tennis world. Compassion for what? For winning so many grand slams under the influence of drugs? Agassi even said that the kind of drugs he used is class 2, which means it is for recreation not a performance enhancing (class 1). Nadal and Federer expressed their displeasure over this and Nadal said “this is terrible, why is he saying this now that he has retired?” The answer to the Nadal’s question seems to be simple. As long as Agassi was playing he was on Recreational drug so he did not realize it at all. He enjoyed drug along with tennis titles. Now that he wants to “open” bookshop, all of sudden he realized he has cheated the tennis world & he made the revelation. Every man wants to be honest when he writes book. May be he has taken honesty drug now. But it is shame on his part for cheating the Tennis world.
