A soldier swapped for 1000 prisoners

Jerusalem: Israel government has agreed to release around 1000 Palestine prisoners in exchange for Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who was kidnapped by Hamas more than three years ago. In the October Israel had freed 20 women prisoners just to gain the soldier’s video to make sure he is still alive. If country like Israel which is known for its hardcore military skills and commitment to fight against Islamic terrorism is yielding for Islamic jihad’s pressure then what could be the fate of country like India? What’s happening in Gaza strip is much similar to the happening across LOC, but Israel has been very brutal in fighting these terrorists compared to India. Is Israel going Indian way by being very soft towards Islamic militants under the international and national pressure?
