PANAJI:  Actually it was inauguration of new police station premise at Anjuna Beach and the whole goa police department including IGP was present in that function where belly dance was held on the stage. The exotic dance was called off shortly not because police felt that it is not civilized but general public including police started sharing the stage along with the belly dancers. BANGALORE: From Sept. 29th – Oct. 6th, torrential rains have caused devastating floods in the North Karnataka, claiming over 250 lives & affecting nearly 2 million people. These floods are recorded as being the worst to ravage these areas in 100 years. Roads & farms are submerged in water, putting estimated relief, rehabilitation & reconstruction costs at billions of dollars. Those displaced are suffering acutely due to lack of food and clean water. Exactly when the state government lead by chief minister B.S.Yediyurappa was working for relief, rehabilitation & reconstruction for the victims of the flood, a political drama unfolded in the BJP affecting not only the victims of flood but it made all its voters as victims for voting them. For four such legislatures belonging to MNS it was the last day in the assembly for next four years. These four Marathi manus elected only by the people who speak Marathi attacked Samajavadi party leader (elected by Marathi speaking voters) for taking oath in Hindi in Marathi assembly. Eight time grand slam winner left the tennis world shocked and virtually closed the spirit of the game by admitting now. LAHORE: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said that Pakistan is a safe haven for Al-Qaeda. In her remarks she said Pakistan is not in position to take action against Al-Qaeda since 2002 and it does not know anything about Al-Qaeda whereabouts. US has been granting lot of funds for Pakistan to take action against Al-Qaeda since many years  but Pakistan has never acted as per US wish and it is using the fund to support Kashmiri militants.
